Graduation

Geezer Graduate

I rule.

As for the video, I didn't want to walk into the auditorium brandishing my camera at everyone. So, I just let it hang from my wrist. It's mostly feet, floor, and a jumbled crowd. However, if you play it with the sound on, you can hear the "perp walk" music.

Interestingly enough, we weren't to shake hands with the president of the college, due to the threat of swine flu. I thought about coughing when I met her, but I couldn't quite muster the nerve to do it.

Hey, thanks. I was laughing at my mom trying to work my camera. (In the original pic, I'm at a 10 degree angle. I rotated and cropped it into its current form.)

All in all, it was a good day. However, two graduates received their degrees "postumously," with their parents wearing their regalia and going across the stage. I can't imagine anything sadder.

As for emotion, it was pretty intense, to move that tassel over to the left. Though technically we're supposed to keep it on the front of the hat, they told us to put it to the rear of photographic purposes.

Regardless, it was still intense. Wow. I'm a graduate.

Wow....
